Jotun U.A.E. Ltd. is one of the leading paint manufacturers and has been the market leader in the Middle East since 1974. Jotun Kuwait functions as branch office of Jotun U.A.E. Ltd and is a key contributor to the overall sales of the company. Given Kuwait’s high potential for growth, we have aggressive plans to improve our market shares in this market. Our range of Passive Fire Protection (PFP) products is the pillar of our Infrastructure concept solutions. The Infrastructure concept is part of the Protective Coatings department. As part of the business strategy to strengthen our Infrastructure concept sales in Kuwait, we are looking for a candidate with sound technical knowledge and proven sales experience. This position will be based in Kuwait and will report to the Sales Manager – Protective Coatings.


  • Promote Jotun Protective Coatings products to clients, consultants and decision makers of projects in Kuwait by building up strong customer service relationships and constant follow-up to ensure Jotun products are specified
  • Sell Jotun Protective Coatings Infrastructure Concept portfolio and products to customers through frequent visits and responding to enquiries efficiently to achieve budgeted deliverables in terms of value, volume, gross margins and DSO
  • Provide quality technical sales service by executing field inspection through supervision of the painting progress to ensure right products and correct usage of the finished coatings to achieve the performance as stated in Jotun’s technical data sheets for optimum results
  • Maintain high levels of service to customers by coordinating with Customer service, Warehouse and other internal departments in regards to deliveries, invoicing and technical service to ensure customers’ satisfaction
  • Identify and target potential customers by actively seeking sales opportunities to increase market share.


Education level

  • College / University, Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 5 years’ technical sales experience in: Protective Coatings, construction chemicals or coating manufacturing field
  • Local sales experience in Kuwait is preferred
  • Valid GCC driving license would be an advantage
