Job Description

The main areas of responsibility:
· Install new or rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and operational requirements
· Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
· Contribute to and maintain system standards
· Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
· Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
· Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
· Perform regular file archival as necessary
· Create, change, and delete user accounts per request
· Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
· Oversee the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for the company
· Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
· Submit weekly report stating any problems and providing updates
· Support and Development of the DMFP SharePoint environment
· Support and Development of SQL servers

· Interaction with all departments on IT Matters
Flexibility in having to carry out a range of different tasks:
· Any changes/updates have to go through IT Manager for approval
Work allocation, review and approval:
· Work allocated, reviewed and approved by IT Manager
Decision making authority:
· All final decisions to be made by IT Manager

Unusual features of the job:
· Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice

Knowledge and Skills needed:
· Bachelor degree
· Systems Administration/System Engineer certification
· 4+ years systems administration experience
· SQL Developer
· SharePoint 2010, 2013 Developer
· Highly Organized
· Ability to multitask
Experience of dealing with servers, security, computerssecurity, computers
